Im a big fan of impatiens especially this one, its a very useful plant which will grow in the shade of other exotics. I assume it is tender and I protect the stock plants over winter, however I still have some plants outside which are flowering possibly at their best even though its January.

Pot in a mixture of two thirds multipurpose compost and one third John Innes or soil based compost. this will provide nutrients and stability. Water regularly and feed throughout the growing season with a liquid feed.
